Excursion of the Month

Welcome

to ‘Etna Wonders’ where the incomparable beauty of the primordial nature is presented through the images that only a volcano can offer.
Explore the marvellous spots of nature set in the volcanic scenery rarely visited by tourists... in the light of a sunset... on the side of a lava flow... in the colours of autumn... on the soft slopes dressed in snow, just you and your inseparable travel companion- the camera.
Plunge into photography, when walking, skiing, exploring and stopping to listen to the silence of nature, to be in the right place at the right moment. Even if unable to capture the perfect image what’s important is to escape for a couple of days from the routine of everyday life. Photograph any detail you desire in total tranquillity, any marvel even if ephemeral (a circle of gas or a sudden puff of sand from the summit craters), the number of participants will be limited in order to be able to give particular attention to each one of them.
Learn the fascinating and often dramatic history of the eruptions of Etna and about various local cultures. Etna in all season offers a variety of breathtaking landscapes and panoramas and represents an exceptional natural workshop for scholars or simple enthusiasts.
On account of it’s beauties, uniqueness and a huge variety of volcanological phenomena, from June 2013, Etna volcano became part of UNESCO World Heritage. It can easily be included among one of ‘Seven Wonders of Europe’.
